Seeds are the foundation of our food — and of the future. Nordic Seed Alliance brings together farmers, seed savers and civil society across the Nordics to grow, share and develop living, agroecologically grown seeds — suited to our own soil and climate, for generations to come.
The Nordic Seed Alliance is a network of organisations working across the Nordic-Baltic bioregion — Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Baltic states — and engaging in wider European and international cooperation where relevant. Together, our member organisations bring together farmers, seed savers, gardeners, NGOs, organisations, farms, researchers, educators, young growers and policy advocates. We came together because seed sovereignty, agrobiodiversity and societal resilience are too large for any single country, organisation or generation to hold alone.
